Where is my data stored?

All data physically lives in Brazilian data centers — São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Porto Alegre or Fortaleza, depending on the region you choose. Replication to other regions is optional and always within Brazilian territory.

How does billing work?

We charge in BRL with an electronic invoice (NF-e) issued by Mettric Data Technology LTDA. You can pay via boleto, Pix, credit card or monthly invoicing (for companies). No IOF tax and no surprise charges for inter-region egress.

Yes. We offer a 99.99% SLA for VPS Cloud, 99.95% for Object Storage and 99.99% for Load Balancer. If we miss it, the credit is applied automatically to your next invoice.

Can I migrate from AWS, GCP or Azure?

Yes. We have a migration team that helps for free on projects starting at R$ 5,000/month in spend. We support Terraform, Pulumi, Kubernetes and machine snapshots for assisted migration.

How does the compliance scope work?

Mettric applies LGPD controls and documents service responsibilities. Equinix certifications and reports belong to the physical and operational scope of the contracted facility; they do not amount to a Mettric certification.

Is there an API and Terraform provider?

Yes. Documented REST API (OpenAPI 3.1), official CLI, SDKs for Go, Python, Node.js and PHP, plus an official Terraform/OpenTofu provider maintained by our team.

Is there a contract lock-in?

No. You can shut down resources at any time and billing is prorated. Only Enterprise contracts with pre-agreed discounts have a fixed term.
